Meeting – July 2025

Once again, we had quite unpleasant weather on the day of our meeting but I’m sure those who did venture out to attend the meeting felt it was worthwhile.

Our own Noel Tyzack was the guest speaker and his topic was “My Travels in Kenya”.  It really was a most interesting talk with Noel advising us of a myriad of interesting facts about Kenya.   Noel showed us a variety of photos (from a collection of thousands that he possesses from two different trips to Kenya).  They are really wonderful photos – (mostly of the wildlife) and it was such a privilege to see them.  The audience was very receptive and there were lots of questions asked.

Thank you Noel for giving us such a wonderful insight into Kenya.

Noel Tyzack gave a very interesting talk on Kenya and showed some wonderful wildlife photos.

The Gerenuk (Noel’s favourite) is a long-necked antelope. This clever animal is able to stand upright on its hind legs to reach food.

These beautiful Impalas were certainly close-by!
